Ryan Fuller is working on his master’s degree in education leadership at the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. He is currently a School Leadership Resident at High Tech High North County where he is getting firsthand experience with what it takes to lead a project-based learning school. Ryan Fuller started his career in education in Colorado Springs where he taught math and robotics for 2 years at a traditional public high school. In 2012, he moved to Denver where he helped found DSST: Cole High School and has worked as a 9th grade physics teacher and Science Department Chair for two years. Prior to working in education, Ryan worked as an aerospace design engineer for four years. His transition from engineering to education involved 18 months of traveling, reading and reflecting that changed his life forever. Ryan has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. He is constantly working to build the skills, knowledge and experience to help expand project-based learning to more communities around the world.
